New and Amended Maritime Agreements Filed

The Federal Maritime Commission has issued notice that the following new or amended agreements have been filed. Interested parties may submit comments by Feb. 27.

Ocean Carrier Equipment Management Association – The amendment adds Ocean Network Express Pte. Ltd. as a party to the agreement, deletes Alianca Navegacao e Logistica Ltda. and United Arab Shipping Co. Ltd. as parties, and provides that Maersk Line A/S and Hamburg-Südamerikanische Dampfschifffahrtsgesellschaft KG shall be treated as one party for all purposes under the agreement.

Sealand/MSC Vessel Sharing Agreement (Maersk Line A/S d/b/a Sealand and MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A.) – The agreement authorizes the parties to share vessels in the trade between the U.S. Gulf Coast and ports in Panama, Colombia, Guatemala, and Honduras.

Sealand/MSC Slot Charter Agreement (Maersk Line A/S d/b/a Sealand and MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company S.A.) – The agreement authorizes Sealand to sell space to MSC on its South Atlantic Express service in the trade between ports in Florida and ports in Guatemala and Honduras.

Consolidated Chassis Management Pool Agreement – The amendment adds Ocean Network Express Pte. Ltd. as a party to the agreement, deletes Alianca Navegacao e Logistica Ltda. as a party, and provides that Maersk Line A/S and Hamburg-Südamerikanische Dampfschifffahrtsgesellschaft KG shall be treated as one party for all purposes under the agreement.
