Under the Nairobi Protocol, U.S. imports of qualifying articles specially designed or adapted for the use or benefit of handicapped persons, as well as specially designed or adapted parts and accessories thereof, are eligible for duty-free treatment under HTSUS subheadings 9817.00.92 through 9817.00.96. In addition, such goods manufactured in China are exempt from the Section 301 tariff increase. This webinar will review important terms and conditions related to this duty-free treatment and how affected companies can take advantage of it.
