Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

2.4-D – final affirmative AD/CV injury determinations on 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid from China and India

Ceramic tile – final affirmative CV injury determination on ceramic tile from India

Ferrosilicon – issuance of AD and CV duty orders on ferrosilicon from Brazil, Kazakhstan, and Malaysia, with dumping margins of 0.78 to 21.78 percent for Brazil, 6.01 to 6.2 percent for Kazakhstan, and 5.1 to 42.88 percent for Malaysia and net subsidy rates of 4.44 to 61.73 percent for Brazil, 16.82 and 265.53 percent for Kazakhstan, and 2.78 to 3.48 percent for Malaysia

New reviews – initiation of administrative reviews of the following AD/CV duty orders for the periods April 1, 2024, through March 31, 2025 (AD) or Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2024 (CV), unless otherwise specified; these reviews may result in changes in AD/CV duty rates for affected goods

- 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (R-134a) from China (AD)

- activated carbon from China (AD)

- alloy and carbon steel threaded rod from China (AD)

- aluminum foil from China (AD/CV)

- carbon and alloy steel threaded rod from India (AD/CV)

- common alloy aluminum sheet from Bahrain, Brazil, Croatia, Egypt, Germany, India, Indonesia, Oman, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, South Africa, Taiwan (AD) and from Bahrain and India (CV)

- frozen warmwater shrimp from Thailand (AD; Feb. 1, 2024, through March 31, 2025)

- mobile access equipment and subassemblies thereof from China (AD)

- new pneumatic off-the-road tries from India (CV)

- wooden cabinets and vanities and components thereof from China (AD/CV)

Rebar – dumping margins of zero and 1.13 percent in final results of administrative review of AD duty order on steel concrete reinforcing bar from Türkiye for the period July 1, 2022, through June 30, 2023
