The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact STR.
Ammonium sulfate – determination that enriched ¹⁵N ammonium sulfate isotope is outside the scope of the AD and CVD orders on ammonium sulfate from China
Phosphate esters – initiation of inquiries to determine whether spray-foam systems from Thailand that are completed or assembled with components produced in China, or alkyl phosphate esters completed or assembled in Thailand with intermediate chemicals produced in China, are circumventing the AD and CVD orders on alkyl phosphate esters from China
Rebar – final affirmative AD injury determinations on steel concrete reinforcing bar from Bulgaria, Egypt, and Vietnam and final affirmative CVD injury determinations on rebar from Egypt and Vietnam; as a result, AD and CVD orders will be issued
Steel pipe – dumping margin of 3.64 percent (up from 2.63 percent) in amended final results of administrative review of AD order on circular welded carbon-quality steel pipe from the United Arab Emirates for the period Dec. 1, 2020, through Nov. 30, 2021
Trailers – final affirmative AD and CVD determinations on van-type trailers and subassemblies thereof from China, with dumping margin of 130.86 percent and net subsidy rate of 134.75 percent
