Export Committees on Materials Processing Equipment, Sensors to Meet

The Bureau of Industry and Security’s Materials Processing Equipment Technical Advisory Committee will hold an open meeting Oct. 24 in Washington, D.C. This committee advises BIS on technical questions that affect the level of export controls applicable to materials processing equipment and related technology. The agenda for the upcoming meeting will include the results of and proposals from the last Wassenaar Arrangement meeting as well as proposed and recently issued changes to the Export Administration Regulations.

The BIS Sensors and Instrumentation Technical Advisory Committee will hold a partially open meeting Oct. 25 in Washington, D.C. This committee advises BIS on technical questions that affect the level of export controls applicable to sensors and instrumentation equipment and technology. The open session of the upcoming meeting will include industry presentations and new business.
