Export Committees on Information Systems, Sensors and Instrumentation to Meet

Information Systems. The Bureau of Industry and Security’s Information Systems Technical Advisory Committee, which advises BIS on technical questions that affect the level of export controls applicable to information systems equipment and technology, will hold a partially open meeting Jan. 25-26 in Washington, D.C. The open session of this meeting will include working group reports and industry presentations on quantum computing. Requests to participate in this session in person or via teleconference are due by Jan. 18.

Sensors and Instrumentation. The Sensors and Instrumentation Technical Advisory Committee, which advises BIS on technical questions that affect the level of export controls applicable to sensors and instrumentation equipment and technology, will hold a partially open meeting Feb. 1 in San Francisco, Calif. The open session of this meeting will include remarks from BIS management and industry presentations. Requests to participate in this session in person or via teleconference are due by Jan. 25.
