The Federal Maritime Commission announced March 24 that it has redesigned its online library of carrier agreements in an effort to make it easier to search for, identify, and review vessel-operating common carrier agreements. According to the FMC, key benefits of the updated agreements library include near real-time notice of recently filed agreements and amendments, synopses of agreements and amendments as well as filing and effective date information, and full texts of nearly all effective agreement and amendment filings, including those previously available only upon request. The agreements library is free of charge and can be accessed here 24/7.
