Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact ST&R.

Abrasive grains – final affirmative AD/CVD injury determinations on sol gel alumina-based ceramic abrasive grains from China

PTFE – net subsidy rate of 5.16 percent in final results of administrative review of CVD order on granular polytetrafluoroethylene resin from India for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2023

Steel plate – dumping margin of zero in final results of administrative review of AD order on cut-to-length carbon-quality steel plate products from Korea for the period Feb. 1, 2023, through Jan. 31, 2024

Sugar – continuation of suspension of AD and CVD investigations of sugar from Mexico, effective Sept. 9

Wood flooring – (1) net subsidy rates of 10.51 and 430.38 percent in final results of administrative review of CVD order on multilayered wood flooring from China for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2022, and (2) net subsidy rates of 2.45 to 122.94 percent in amended final results of administrative review of this order for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2017, pursuant to court decision
