Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

Aluminum sheet – (1) net subsidy rates of 21.41 to 373.06 percent in final results of administrative review of CV duty order on common alloy aluminum sheet from China for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2022, and (2) continuation of AD and CV duty orders on such goods from China, effective Aug. 28

Olives – continuation of AD and CV duty orders on ripe olives from Spain, effective Aug. 9

Paper plates – (1) preliminary affirmative dumping determinations on paper plates from China, Thailand, and Vietnam, (2) new AD cash deposit requirements at rates of 650.48 and 1039.05 percent for China, 4.23 and 73.17 percent for Thailand, and zero and 159.79 percent for Vietnam, and (3) preliminary affirmative determination of critical circumstances for all three countries

Pasta – sunset review determination that revocation of AD and CV duty orders on pasta from Italy and Turkey would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time

Transformers – continuation of AD duty order on large power transformers from Korea, effective Aug. 27
