Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, P.A., is proud to announce the selection of attorney Lenny Feldman as general counsel for the National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America. ST&R will also continue to serve as customs counsel for the NCBFAA.
“I am honored to serve NCBFAA in this additional role,” said Feldman, a senior member of ST&R who also serves on the firm’s Operating Committee. “The association leads the trade community in influencing federal regulation and legislation governing trade and in collaborating with those implementing and enforcing trade policy at all levels throughout the federal government. I am energized and ready to further support the Association as general counsel.”

Feldman recent served as co-chair of the 15th Commercial Customs Operations Advisory Committee and as co-chair of the 14th COAC’s Trade Modernization Subcommittee. He has also led numerous COAC working groups, including on forced labor, intellectual property rights, e-commerce, broker regulatory reform, trade modernization, and trade partnership programs. He advises customs brokers, freight forwarders, importers, exporters, carriers, and sureties to develop and adopt best practices and compliance programs in the import and export context and to effectively resolve enforcement issues.
