The International Trade Commission has recently announced the following actions in intellectual property rights infringement investigations. For more information on pursuing or mitigating IPR-related import restrictions, please contact ST&R.

Cart wheels – termination without import restrictions of patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1357 of electronic anti-theft shopping cart wheels, components thereof, and systems containing the same based on a settlement

Fitness devices – institution of enforcement proceeding relating to the remedial orders issued in investigation 337-TA-1265 of fitness devices, streaming components thereof, and systems containing same

LiDAR – termination without import restrictions of patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1363 of light detection and ranging systems and components thereof based on an arbitration agreement

Mobile phones – new IPR infringement complaints filed on (1) electronic devices, including mobile phones, tablets, laptops, components thereof, and products containing the same (complainant Ericsson AB and Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson; proposed respondents located in Hong Kong, China, and the U.S.), and (2) mobile phones, components thereof, and products containing same (complainant Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson; proposed respondents located in Hong Kong, China, and the U.S.)

Semiconductor devices – termination without import restrictions of patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1342 of semiconductor devices having layered dummy fill, electronic devices, and components thereof based on withdrawal of the complaint
