Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact STR.

Electrodes – preliminary affirmative AD determinations on large-diameter graphite electrodes from China and India, new AD cash deposit requirements at rates of 95.61 percent for China and 1.15 to 9.88 percent for India, and preliminary affirmative critical circumstances determinations

Line pipe – dumping margins of 4.55 and 5.39 percent in amended AD order on welded line pipe from South Korea

Pipe and tube – dumping margins of 6.06 and 10.67 percent in amended final results of administrative review of AD order on light-walled rectangular pipe and tube from Mexico for the period Aug. 1, 2020, through July 31, 2021

Tires – sunset review determination that revocation of AD orders on passenger vehicle and light truck tires from South Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand would be likely to lead to continuation or dumping at margins up to 27.05 percent, 101.84 percent, and 21.09 percent, respectively

 

Wind towers – dumping margin of zero in preliminary results of administrative review of AD order on utility-scale wind towers from South Korea for the period Aug. 1, 2024, through July 31, 2025
