Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

Aluminum foil – (1) dumping margins of 60.61 to 75.65 percent in final results of administrative review of AD duty order on aluminum foil from China for the period April 1, 2022, through March 31, 2023, and (2) net subsidy rates of 22.35 to 29.9 percent in final results of administrative review of CV duty order on aluminum foil from China for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2022

Brighteners – sunset review determination that revocation of AD duty orders on stilbenic optical brightening agents from China and Taiwan would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at margins up to 106.17 percent for China and 6.19 percent for Taiwan

Laminated sacks – (1) sunset review determination that revocation of AD and CV duty orders on laminated woven sacks from Vietnam would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time and (2) sunset review determination that revocation of CV duty order on laminated woven sacks from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of countervailable subsidies of 83.34 to 398.62 percent

Nails – determination of substantial evidence that an importer evaded the AD duty order on wire coated coil nails from China by transshipping them through India and Canada and imposition of interim measures

Steel flat products – (1) sunset review determination that revocation of AD duty orders on hot-rolled carbon steel flat products from China, India, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand, and Ukraine would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at margins up to 90.83 percent for China, 44.4 percent for India, 47.86 percent for Indonesia, 29.14 percent for Taiwan, 20.3 percent for Thailand, and 90.33 percent for Ukraine, and (2) sunset review determination that revocation of CV duty orders on such products from India, Indonesia, and Thailand would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of countervailable subsidies at rates of 336.62 to 360.23 percent for India, 10.21 percent for Indonesia, and 2.38 percent for Thailand
