The International Trade Commission has recently announced the following actions in intellectual property rights infringement investigations. For more information on pursuing or mitigating IPR-related import restrictions, please contact ST&R.

Medical devices – institution of patent, trademark, and trade dress infringement investigation 337-TA-1364 of blood flow restriction devices with rotatable windlasses and components thereof (complainants Composite Resources Inc. and North American Rescue LLC; respondents located in China, Canada, and the U.S.)

Pillows – termination of patent, trademark, and trade dress infringement investigation 337-TA-1328 of pillows and seat cushions, components thereof, and packaging thereof based on settlement agreements and consent orders with seven respondents

Toner containers – institution of proceeding in investigation 337-TA-1259 of toner supply containers and components thereof to determine whether respondents’ redesigned containers infringe patents asserted by complainants and the general exclusion order previously issued should be modified accordingly
