Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact ST&R.

Air compressors – institution of AD/CVD injury investigations of air compressors from China, Malaysia, and Vietnam

Fencing – final affirmative AD and CVD injury determinations on temporary steel fencing from China

Palladium – final affirmative AD determination on unwrought palladium from Russia, with dumping margin of 132.83 percent

Sunset reviews – initiation of sunset reviews of the following AD/CVD orders, which will result in either the revocation or continuation of these orders

- carbazole violet pigment 23 from China (AD) and India (AD/CVD)

- steel grating from China (AD/CVD)

- steel nails from Malaysia (AD), Oman (AD), South Korea (AD), Taiwan (AD), and Vietnam (AD/CVD)

- welded line pipe from South Korea (AD) and Türkiye (AD/CVD)

Welded pipe – dumping margins of 50.89 percent for Canada and zero and 0.8 percent for South Korea in final results of administrative reviews of AD orders on large-diameter welded pipe from these countries for the period May 1, 2023, through April 30, 2024
