Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. DOTP – rescission of administrative review of AD duty order on dioctyl terephthalate from Korea for the period Aug. 1, 2021, through July 31, 2022, and instruction to CBP to assess AD duties on entries of such goods at the applicable cash deposit rates

Pipes and tubes – sunset review determination that revocation of CV duty order on circular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from Turkey would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of countervailable subsidies at levels from 1.8 to 4.1 percent

Scope rulings – applications filed in March for rulings on the scope of the following AD/CV duty orders

- fresh garlic from China

- twist ties from China

- utility-scale wind towers from China and Spain

- wood moldings and millwork products from China

Shelving – institution of AD injury investigations of boltless steel shelving units prepackaged for sale from India, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam

Steel plate – request to terminate 2003 agreement suspending the AD duty investigation of cut-to-length carbon steel plate from Russia
