Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

 Aluminum extrusions – amended preliminary determinations in CV duty investigations of aluminum extrusions from China, Indonesia, Mexico, and Türkiye so that the scope of these investigations coincides with that of the parallel AD duty investigations

Brass rod – final affirmative AD injury determinations on brass rod from Brazil, India, Mexico, South Africa, and South Korea, and final affirmative CV injury determination on brass rod from South Korea

Paper bags – dumping margins of 7.07 and 248.81 percent (Cambodia), 61.65 to 135.77 percent (China), 11.06 and 56.14 percent (Colombia), zero to 49.66 percent (India), 3.18 and 112.22 percent (Malaysia), 6.14 percent (Portugal), 4.74 and 65.81 percent (Taiwan), and 36.51 and 92.34 percent (Vietnam), subsidy rates of 40.76 to 172.36 percent (China) and 2.38 to 4.81 percent (India), and final determinations of critical circumstances with respect to imports of subject merchandise from various countries in final determinations of AD and CV duty investigations of certain paper shopping bags from these countries

Pasta – subsidy rates of 0.94 and 2.37 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of CV duty order on certain pasta from Italy for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2022, and review rescission with respect to one company

Steel products – dumping margin of 12.69 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of AD duty order on diffusion-annealed, nickel-plated, flat-rolled steel products from Japan for the period May 1, 2022, through April 30, 2023, and review rescission with respect to certain companies

Truck and bus tires – scheduling of AD and CV sunset reviews on truck and bus tires from China, with written submissions due by July 25
