Background

USTR expects to establish new four-year charter terms and is accepting applications from qualified individuals interested in serving as a member of either of the following trade advisory committees:

- Advisory Committee for Trade Policy and Negotiations (ACTPN)

- Intergovernmental Policy Advisory Committee on Trade (IGPAC)

- Trade Advisory Committee on Africa (TACA)

- Trade and Environment Policy Advisory Committee (TEPAC)

The ACTPN provides general policy advice and guidance on trade policy, the IGPAC provides general policy advice and guidance on trade policy and development matters that have a significant impact on the affairs of U.S. state and local governments, the TACA provides general policy advice and guidance on trade policy and development matters that have a significant impact on sub-Saharan African countries, and the TEPAC provides general policy advice and guidance on trade policy that may have a significant impact on the environment.

In order to receive full consideration, applications should be received no later than March 25. Nominations will be accepted after that date on a rolling basis as vacancies arise until the expiration of the charter term.
