Background

The International Trade Commission has recently announced the following actions in intellectual property rights infringement investigations. For more information on pursuing or mitigating IPR-related import restrictions, please contact ST&R.

Chocolate milk – initial determination in investigation 337-TA-1232 of chocolate milk powder and packaging thereof finding all enforcement respondents in default

Fiber optic connectors – new IPR infringement complaint filed on fiber optic connectors, adapters, jump cables, patch cords, products containing the same, and components thereof (complainant US Conec Ltd.; proposed respondents located in Japan, Ireland, Taiwan, Germany, China, and the U.S.)

Garden beds – in investigation 337-TA-1334 of raised garden beds and components thereof, issuance of (1) a limited exclusion order prohibiting imports of infringing goods by respondents and (2) a cease and desist order against one respondent

Liquid transfer devices – initial determination of Section 337 violation in investigation 337-TA-1362 of liquid transfer devices with an integral vial adapter and recommendation to issue a limited exclusion order and cease and desist order
