Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact ST&R.

Hard capsules – dumping margin of 47.12 percent for Vietnam in corrected notice of AD orders on hard empty capsules from Brazil, China, India, and Vietnam

Silicon metal – (1) final affirmative AD injury determinations on silicon metal from Angola and Laos, (2) final affirmative CV injury determination on silicon metal from Laos, and (3) termination of CV injury investigation of silicon metal from Thailand following determination of negligible imports

Steel wheels – initiation of inquiries to determine whether imports of steel wheels from Thailand and Vietnam are circumventing the AD and CVD orders on steel wheels from China

Threaded rod – dumping margin of 0.74 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of AD order on alloy and certain carbon steel threaded rod from China for the period April 1, 2024, through March 31, 2025

Tires – net subsidy rates of 0.57 to 5.96 percent in final results of administrative review of CVD order on new pneumatic off-the-road tires from India for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2023
