Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact ST&R.

Freight rail couplers (India) – preliminary affirmative determination in CVD investigation of certain freight rail couplers and parts thereof from India, with subsidy rates ranging from 5.47 to 64.27 percent

Glycine (China) – final results of changed circumstances review of AD order on glycine from China, involving glycine from Salvi Chemical Industries Ltd.

Steel plate (Germany) – dumping margin of zero in final results of administrative review of AD order on certain carbon and alloy steel cut-to-length plate from Germany for the period May 1, 2023, through April 30, 2024

Strawberries (Mexico) – preliminary affirmative injury determination in AD probe on fresh winter strawberries from Mexico

Torsion springs (India) – issuance of AD and CVD orders on overhead door counterbalance torsion springs from India, with AD cash deposit rates of 60.76 or 100.45 percent and subsidy rate of 172.08 percent

Truck bed covers (China) – institution of AD and CVD injury investigations on truck bed covers from China
