Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact ST&R.

Electrodes – initiation of CVD investigations of large-diameter graphite electrodes from China

Paper – dumping margin of 10.91 percent in final results of administrative review of AD order on uncoated paper from Portugal for the period March 1, 2023, through Feb. 29, 2024

Pipes and tubes – dumping margins of zero and 35.11 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of AD order on heavy-walled rectangular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from Korea for the period Sept. 1, 2023, through Aug. 31, 2024

Welded pipe – initiation of changed circumstances review to determine if Interpro Pipe & Steel Inc. is the successor-in-interest to Evraz Inc. NA Canada in the context of the AD order on large-diameter welded pipe from Canada

Wind towers – continuation of AD orders on utility-scale wind towers from Canada, Indonesia, Korea, and Vietnam and CVD orders on such towers from Canada and Vietnam, effective March 16
