The Coast Guard is imposing conditions of entry on vessels arriving in the U.S. from Haiti, which the Coast Guard has determined to not have effective antiterrorism measures in its ports.
Specifically, all commercial vessels that arrive in the U.S. on or after June 22 after visiting ports in Haiti as one of their last five ports of call will have to take specified actions in foreign ports and after arriving in the U.S. More information can be found here.
The current list of countries assessed as not maintaining effective anti-terrorism measures (and therefore subject to conditions of entry) is now as follows: Cambodia, Cameroon, Comoros, Cuba, Equatorial Guinea, Federated States of Micronesia, The Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Madagascar, Nauru, Nigeria (with specified exceptions), North Korea, Sao Tome and Principe, Seychelles, Sudan, Suriname, Syria, Timor-Leste, Venezuela, and Yemen.
