The Department of Agriculture’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service is considering a request to authorize the importation of fresh Oha leaves from Nigeria into the continental U.S. Based on a pest risk assessment, APHIS has determined that the application of one or more designated phytosanitary measures will be sufficient to mitigate the risks of introducing or disseminating plant pests or noxious weeds via such imports. Comments on this assessment are due by Aug. 8.
