Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact STR.

Citric acid – continuation of AD and CVD orders on citric acid and certain citrate salts from China, effective May 26

Engines – sunset review determination that revocation of AD and CVD orders on large vertical shaft engines and parts thereof from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at levels up to 468.33 percent and countervailable subsidies at levels of 18.96 to 20.38 percent

Mushrooms – sunset review determination that revocation of AD order on preserved mushrooms from Chile, China, India, and Indonesia would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at levels up to 148.51 percent for Chile, 198.63 percent for China, 243.87 percent for India, and 16.24 percent for Indonesia

R-32 – sunset review determination that revocation of AD order on difluoromethane (R-32) from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at levels up to 221.06 percent

Xanthan gum – dumping margin of zero in amended final results of administrative review of AD order on xanthan gum from China for the period July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021
