Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact STR.

Air compressors – initiation of AD and CVD investigations of stationary and portable air compressors from China, Malaysia, and Vietnam, and June 9 deadline for comments on the scope of these investigations

Aluminum foil – dumping margins of 26.6 to 29.89 percent in amended final results of administrative review of AD order on aluminum foil from China for the period April 1, 2023, through March 31, 2024

Monomers – final affirmative AD determination on monomers and oligomers from South Korea, dumping margins of 65.72 and 155.42 percent, and final affirmative critical circumstances determination

Pulp – preliminary affirmative AD determinations on high-purity dissolving pulp from Brazil and Norway and new AD cash deposit requirements, effective May 27, at rates of 6.09 percent for Brazil and 6.54 percent for Norway

Welded pipe – dumping margin of 1.89 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of AD order on large-diameter welded pipe from Türkiye for the period May 1, 2024, through April 30, 2025
