Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact STR.

Acetone – rescission of administrative review of AD order on acetone from South Korea for the period March 1, 2025, through Feb. 28, 2026, and instruction to CBP to assess AD duties on entries of subject goods at the applicable cash deposit rates

Propane cylinders – dumping margin of 1.01 percent in final results of administrative review of AD order on steel propane cylinders from Thailand for the period Aug. 1, 2023, through July 31, 2024

Silicon metal – dumping margin of zero in final results of administrative review of AD order on silicon metal from Malaysia for the period Aug. 1, 2023, through July 31, 2024

Steel plate – dumping margin of 5.27 percent in amended final results of administrative review of AD order on carbon and alloy steel cut-to-length plate from Belgium for the period May 1, 203, through April 30, 2024

Tires – net subsidy rates of 3.01 and 5.84 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of CVD order on passenger vehicle and light truck tires from Vietnam for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2024
