Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

Brass rod – final affirmative AD injury determinations on brass rod from Brazil, India, Mexico, South Africa, and South Korea and final affirmative CV injury determination on brass rod from South Korea

Steel cylinders – (1) dumping margin of 178.51 percent for one exporter in preliminary results of administrative review of AD duty order on non-refillable steel cylinders from China for the period May 1, 2022, through April 30, 2023, and (2) rescission of review with respect to one company and instruction to CBP to assess AD duties on entries of subject goods at the applicable cash deposit rates

Steel plate – (1) dumping margins of 0.78 percent for Belgium, and zero and 16.98 percent for Italy, in preliminary results of administrative reviews of AD duty orders on stainless steel plate in coils from these countries for the period May 1, 2022, through April 30, 2023, and (2) rescission of Belgium review with respect to three companies and instruction to CBP to assess AD duties on entries of subject goods at the applicable cash deposit rates

Vanillin – institution of AD/CV injury investigations of vanillin from China

Welded pipe – (1) net subsidy rates of 0.54 to 0.72 percent for Korea and 2.18 and 6.31 percent for Türkiye in preliminary results of administrative reviews of CV duty orders on large-diameter welded pipe from those countries for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2022, (2) dumping margin of zero in preliminary results of administrative review of AD duty order on such pipe from Türkiye for the period May 1, 2022, through April 30, 2023, and (3) rescission of reviews with respect to various companies and instruction to CBP to assess AD/CV duties on entries of subject goods at the applicable cash deposit rates
