Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

Bearings – rescission of administrative review of AD duty order on tapered roller bearings and parts thereof, finished and unfinished, from China for the period June 1, 2023, through May 31, 2024, with respect to four companies and instruction to CBP to assess AD duties on entries of subject goods at the applicable cash deposit rates

Fencing – preliminary affirmative CV duty determination on temporary steel fencing from China, new CV cash deposit requirement at rates of 33.27 to 301.83 percent, and preliminary affirmative critical circumstances determination in part

L-lysine – initiation of AD and CV duty investigations of L-lysine from China, with comments on the scope of these proceedings due by July 7

Low-speed vehicles – final affirmative AD and CV duty determinations on low-speed personal transportation vehicles, dumping margins of 119.39 to 478.08 percent, net subsidy rates of 31.45 to 679.44 percent, and final affirmative critical circumstances determinations in both proceedings

Solar cells – (1) issuance of AD and CV duty orders on crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells, whether or not assembled into modules, from Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam, (2) new AD cash deposit rates of 117.18 percent for Cambodia, zero to 81.24 percent for Malaysia, 111.45 and 172.68 percent for Thailand, and 56.78 to 271.28 percent for Vietnam, and (3) new CV cash deposit rates of 534.67 to 3,403.96 percent for Cambodia, 14.64 to 170.92 percent for Malaysia, 255.39 and 774.5 percent for Thailand, and 68.15 to 542.64 percent for Vietnam
