Background

The Department of Agriculture recently adjusted the amount of raw cane sugar that may be imported under the lower tier of duties provided by the tariff-rate quotas for this product during fiscal year 2023 and established the raw cane sugar TRQ amounts for FY 2024.

The Office of the U.S. Trade Representative has now allocated the additional FY 2023 in-quota quantities as follows (in metric tons raw value).
