Background

The International Trade Commission has recently announced the following actions in intellectual property rights infringement investigations. For more information on pursuing or mitigating IPR-related import restrictions, please contact ST&R.

Location-sharing systems – termination without import restrictions of IPR infringement investigation 337-TA-1347 of location-sharing systems, related software, components thereof, and products containing same based on settlements with two respondents and withdrawal of the complaint with respect to the others

Movable barriers – decision to rescind remedial orders and terminate enforcement proceeding in patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1209 of movable barrier operator systems and components thereof

Power converters – new IPR infringement complaint filed on power converter modules and computing systems containing the same (complainant Vicor Corporation; proposed respondents located in Taiwan, China, and the U.S.)

Semiconductor devices – determination to vacate termination of patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1342 of semiconductor devices having layered dummy fill, electronic devices, and components thereof and remand the investigation for further proceedings
