The International Trade Commission has recently announced the following actions in intellectual property rights infringement investigations. For more information on pursuing or mitigating IPR-related import restrictions, please contact ST&R.

Icemakers – new IPR infringement complaint filed on icemaking machines and components thereof (complainant Hoshizaki America Inc.; proposed respondents located in Korea and the U.S.)

LED lighting – new IPR infringement complaint filed on LED lighting devices, LED power supplies, components thereof, and products containing same (complainants Signify North America Corporation and Signify Holding BV; proposed respondent located in the U.S.)

Semiconductors – termination without import restrictions of patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1308 of power semiconductors and mobile devices and computers containing same based on finding of no Section 337 violation

Vaping cartridges – issuance of limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders in patent and trademark infringement investigation 337-TA-1287 of oil-vaping cartridges, components thereof, and products containing the same
