The International Trade Commission has recently announced the following actions in intellectual property rights infringement investigations that could affect imports of covered products. For more information on pursuing or mitigating IPR-related import restrictions, please contact STR.

Cancer tests – new IPR infringement complaint filed on melanoma predictive and prognostic tests and components thereof (complainant Castle Biosciences Inc.; proposed respondents located in the Netherlands, Germany, and the U.S.)

Eyewear – issuance of remedial orders against defaulting respondent in investigation 337-TA-1455 of electronic eyewear products, components thereof, and related charging apparatuses

Fish tape – initial determination of Section 337 violation in investigation 337-TA-1442 of glow fish tape systems, safety helmet systems, and components thereof

Mobile devices – new IPR infringement complaint filed on mobile electronic devices (complainant Maxell Ltd.; proposed respondents located in South Korea and the U.S.)
