The Department of Homeland Security has issued a final rule adjusting the civil monetary penalties assessed for violations related to the following, effective for penalties assessed after June 28 whose associated violations occurred after Nov. 2, 2015.

- dealing in or using empty stamped imported liquor containers: $645 (up from $625)

- employing a vessel in a trade without a required certificate of documentation: $1,617 (up from $1,566)

- safe containers for international cargo: $7,622 (up from $7,383)

- port security: $42,425 (up from $41,093)

- port security; continuing violations: $76,230 (up from $73,837)
