Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

Softwood lumber – dumping margins of 9.65 to 35.53 percent in final results of administrative review of AD order on softwood lumber products from Canada for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2023

Torsion springs – preliminary determinations that critical circumstances exist in the AD investigations of overhead door counterbalance torsion springs from China and India and the CVD investigation of such springs from India

Vanillin – issuance of AD and CVD orders on vanillin from China, effective July 28, with cash deposit rates of 190.15 and 379.82 percent (AD) and 42.1 percent (CVD)

Welded pipe – dumping margin of zero in preliminary results of administrative review of AD order on large-diameter welded pipe from Türkiye for the period May 1, 2023, through April 30, 2024
