Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact STR.

Mushrooms – sunset review determination that revocation of AD orders on preserved mushrooms from Chile, China, India, and Indonesia would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the U.S. within a reasonably foreseeable time; as a result, these orders will remain in place

R-32 – sunset review determination that revocation of AD order on difluoromethane (R-32) from China would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time; as a result, this order will remain in place

Steel pipe – institution of AD and CVD injury investigations on welded stainless steel line and pressure pipe from India, Türkiye, and the United Arab Emirates

Wind towers – rescission of administrative review of CVD order on utility-scale wind towers from Malaysia for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2024, and instruction to CBP to assess CVD duties on entries of subject goods at the applicable cash deposit rates

Xanthan gum – dumping margins of 22.57 to 38.62 percent in final results of administrative review of AD order on xanthan gum from China for the period July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024
