Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

Cabinets and vanities – (1) net subsidy rates of 5.06 and 18.17 percent in amended CVD duty order on wooden cabinets and vanities and components thereof from China and (2) sunset review determination that revocation of this order would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of countervailable subsidies at rates of 13.33 to 293.45 percent

Electrodes – sunset review determination that revocation of AD duty order on small diameter graphite electrodes from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at margins up to 159.64 percent

Plywood – preliminary affirmative AD/CVD injury determinations on hardwood and decorative plywood from China, Indonesia, and Vietnam

Solar cells – corrected notice of AD duty order on crystalline silicon photovoltaic cells, whether or not assembled into modules, from Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam

Steel sheet and strip – dumping margin of 21.1 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of AD duty order on stainless steel sheet and strip in coils from Taiwan for the period July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2024
