Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact STR.

Aluminum sheet – sunset review determinations that (1) revocation of AD orders on common alloy aluminum sheet would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at margins up to 4.83 percent for Bahrain, 137.06 percent for Brazil, 3.19 percent for Croatia, 12.11 percent for Egypt, 242.8 percent for Germany, 47.92 percent for India, 32.12 percent for Indonesia, 29.13 percent for Italy, 5.29 percent for Oman, 37.26 percent for Romania, 25.84 percent for Serbia, 13.43 percent for Slovenia, 8.85 percent for South Africa, 24.23 percent for Spain, 17.50 percent for Taiwan, and 13.56 percent for Türkiye, and (2) revocation of CVD orders on such goods would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of countervailable subsidies at levels of 6.44 percent for Bahrain, 5.7 to 35.67 percent for India, and 4.94 to 7.59 percent for Türkiye

Rebar – issuance of CVD order on steel concrete reinforcing bar from Algeria, effective July 6, with net subsidy rate of 72.94 percent

Silicon metal – sunset review determination that revocation of AD orders on silicon metal would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at margins up to 21.41 percent for Bosnia and Herzegovina, 47.54 percent for Iceland, and 12.27 percent for Malaysia

Steel pipe – sunset review determinations that (1) revocation of AD orders on seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line, and pressure pipe would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at margins up to 51.7 percent for the Czech Republic, 4.48 percent for South Korea, 209.72 percent for Russia, and 23.75 percent for Ukraine, and (2) revocation of CVD orders on such pipe would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of countervailable subsidies at levels of 1.78 percent for South Korea and 48.38 percent for Russia

Wire mesh – sunset review determination that revocation of AD order on standard steel welded wire mesh from Mexico would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at margins up to 110.42 percent
