The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. HFC blends – initiation of four separate inquiries to determine whether the AD duty order on hydrofluorocarbon blends from China is being circumvented by (1) U.S. imports from China of R-410B, R-407G, and a custom blend that are further processed in the U.S., (2) U.S. imports from Malaysia of R-410A and R-407C that are completed in Malaysia using Chinese components, (3) U.S. imports of R-410B from Turkey that are completed in Turkey using Chinese components and further processed in the U.S., and (4) U.S. imports of R-410A from Turkey that are completed in Turkey using Chinese components

Bearings – dumping margin of 27.02 percent in preliminary results of administrative review of AD duty order on tapered roller bearings and parts thereof, finished and unfinished, from China for the period June 1, 2021, through May 31, 2022

PC strand – dumping margin of zero in preliminary results of administrative review of AD duty order on pre-stressed concrete steel wire strand from Malaysia for the period Nov. 19, 2020, through May 31, 2022

Scope rulings – applications filed in May for rulings on whether specific products are covered by the scope of the following AD/CV duty orders

- cold-rolled steel flat products from India

- fresh garlic from China

- hot-rolled carbon steel flat products from China

- quartz surface products from China

- vertical shaft engines and parts thereof from China

Tires – (1) net subsidy rate of 125.5 percent in final results of administrative review of CV duty order on passenger vehicle and light truck tires from China for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2021, and (2) net subsidy rate of 14.98 percent in final results of administrative review of CV duty order on truck and bus tires from China for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2021
