The International Trade Commission has recently announced the following actions in intellectual property rights infringement investigations that could affect imports of covered products. For more information on pursuing or mitigating IPR-related import restrictions, please contact ST&R.

Power converters – new IPR infringement complaint filed on power converters, circuit board assemblies, and computing systems containing the same (complainant Vicor Corporation; proposed respondents located in Taiwan, China, and the U.S.)

Rosin esters – institution of unfair competition investigation 337-TA-1476 of glycerol esters of rosin and packaging thereof (complainant T&R Chemicals Inc.; respondents located in France and Portugal)

Wearable devices – institution of patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1477 of wearable devices with fall detection and components thereof (complainant UnaliWear Inc.; respondents located in Switzerland, Korea, and the U.S.)
