Background

The Foreign-Trade Zones Board has recently announced the following actions.

- received a notification of proposed production activity (regarding lithium-ion battery packs and accessories) at the Lithion Battery Inc. facility within FTZ 89 in Henderson, Nev.

- received a notification of proposed production activity (regarding passenger motor vehicles) at the Volkswagen Group of America Inc. facility within FTZ 134 in Chattanooga, Tenn.

- received a notification of proposed production activity (regarding power transmission products) at the Twin Disc Inc. facility within FTZ 297 in Lufkin, Texas

- withdrawal of application to expand FTZ 277 to include a new magnet site in El Mirage, Ariz.
