Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact ST&R.

Carbon bricks – determination that refractory bricks with added alumina are excluded from the scope of the AD/CVD orders on magnesia carbon bricks from China

File folders – final affirmative CVD determination on paper file folders from Cambodia, with net subsidy rate of 30.38 percent, and final negative AD determination on such goods

Hard capsules – (1) final affirmative AD determinations on hard empty capsules from Brazil, China, India, and Vietnam, with dumping margins of 77.63 percent for Brazil, zero to 18.71 percent for China, 10.66 to 26.69 percent for India, and 47.12 percent for Vietnam, and (2) final affirmative CVD determinations on such goods, with net subsidy rates of 10.67 percent for Brazil, 3.14 to 8.81 percent for China, 7.06 percent for India, and 2.45 percent for Vietnam

Hexamine – final affirmative AD injury determinations on hexamethylenetetramine from Germany, India, and Saudi Arabi and final affirmative CV injury determination on such goods from India

Thermal paper – dumping margin of 6.27 percent in amended final affirmative AD determination on thermal paper from Germany
