Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. For more information on AD/CVD issues, including how to mitigate liability, please contact ST&R.

Capsules – final affirmative AD/CVD injury determinations on hard empty capsules from Brazil, China, India, and Vietnam

Mushrooms – preliminary affirmative AD/CVD injury determinations on fresh mushrooms from Canada

Paper – dumping margin of 14.42 percent in final results of administrative review of AD order on uncoated paper from Brazil for the period March 1, 2023, through Feb. 29, 2024

Plywood – (1) preliminary affirmative CVD determinations on hardwood and decorative plywood from China, Indonesia, and Vietnam, (2) new CVD cash deposit requirement at rates of 81.34 percent for China, 2.4 to 128.66 percent for Indonesia, and 4.37 to 26.75 percent for Vietnam, (3) preliminary affirmative critical circumstances determination for China, and (4) preliminary negative critical circumstances determination for Vietnam

Staples – sunset review determination that revocation of AD/CVD orders on collated steel staples from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time
