The International Trade Commission has recently announced the following actions in intellectual property rights infringement investigations that could affect imports of covered products. For more information on pursuing or mitigating IPR-related import restrictions, please contact ST&R.

Auto parts – new IPR infringement complaint filed on vehicle parts, components thereof, and vehicles containing same (complainants General Motors LLC and GM Global Technology Operations LLC; proposed respondents located in Taiwan, China, and the U.S.)

Off-road vehicles – new IPR infringement complaint on off-road vehicles and components thereof (complainants Polaris Inc., Polaris Industries Inc., and Polaris Sales Inc.; proposed respondents located in China and the U.S.0

Laptops – new IPR infringement complaint filed on laptops, routers, and gateways and components thereof (complainant AX Wireless LLC; proposed respondents located in Taiwan and the U.S.)

Semiconductor devices – final determination of Section 337 violation in investigation 337-TA-1414 of semiconductor devices and products containing the same

Vehicle safety systems – termination without import restrictions of investigation 337-TA-1393 of vehicle telematics, fleet management, and video-based safety systems, devices, and components thereof based on finding of no Section 337 violation
