U.S. Customs and Border Protection has issued the draft agenda for the 75th session of the World Customs Organization’s Harmonized System Committee, which will be held in Brussels March 10-21. The HSC’s responsibilities include issuing decisions on the interpretation of the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System, which can take the form of published tariff classification opinions or amendments to the Explanatory Notes. The committee also considers amendments to the legal text of the Harmonized System.
