Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases. PET film – (1) dumping margin of zero in final results of administrative review of AD duty order on polyethylene terephthalate film, sheet, and strip from India for the period July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2020, and (2) net subsidy rate of 5.39 percent in final results of administrative review of CV duty order on such goods for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2019

Pipes and tubes – net subsidy rate of 0.26 percent (de minimis) for one company in final results of administrative review of CV duty order on heavy-walled rectangular welded carbon steel pipes and tubes from Turkey for the period Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2019

Pressure pipe – sunset review determination that (1) revocation of AD duty order on welded stainless pressure pipe from India would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping at margins up to 12.66 percent and that (2) revocation of CV duty order on such goods would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of countervailable subsidies at rates of 3.13 to 6.22 percent

Steel wire rod – (1) initiation of inquiry to determine whether imports of stainless steel round wire from Vietnam are circumventing the AD duty order on such goods from Korea and (2) dumping margin of 7.46 percent for one producer/exporter in final results of administrative review of this order for the period May 1, 2019, through April 30, 2020

Sunset reviews – initiation of sunset reviews of the following AD/CV duty orders, which will result in either the revocation or continuation of these orders

- ammonium sulfate from China

- amorphous silica fabric from China

- artist canvas from China

- biaxial integral geogrid products from China

- off-the-road tires from China
