Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

MSG – preliminary determination that imports of monosodium glutamate completed in Malaysia using glutamic acid produced in China are circumventing the AD duty order on MSG from China

Persulfates – continuation of AD duty order on persulfates from China, effective Feb. 13

Steel plate – dumping margin of zero in final results of administrative review of AD duty order on carbon and alloy steel cut-to-length plate from Korea for the period May 1, 2022, through April 30, 2023

Steel racks – sunset review determination that revocation of AD and CV duty orders on steel racks from China would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time

Tubular goods – net subsidy rate of 0.14 percent (de minimis) in final results of administrative review of CV duty order on oil country tubular goods from Korea for the period Sept. 29 through Dec. 31, 2022
