Background

The International Trade Administration and/or International Trade Commission have recently announced the following actions in antidumping and/or countervailing duty cases.

Fencing – initiation of AD and CV duty investigations of temporary steel fencing from China

Mattresses – rescission of administrative review of AD duty order on mattresses from Serbia for the period May 1, 2023, through April 30, 2024, and instruction to CBP to asses AD duties on entries of subject goods at the applicable cash deposit rates

Melamine – final affirmative AD and CV duty determinations on melamine from India, new cash deposit requirements at rates of 506.81 to 626.27 percent (AD) and 276.06 percent (CV), and affirmative critical circumstances determinations

Sodium nitrite – continuation of AD duty orders on sodium nitrite from China and Germany, effective Feb. 5

Wind towers – dumping margin of 28.55 percent in amended final affirmative dumping determination on utility-scale wind towers from Spain
