Environmental Trade Meeting. The Environmental Technologies Trade Advisory Committee will hold a public meeting May 15 in Washington, D.C. This committee advises the Environmental Trade Working Group of the Trade Promotion Coordinating Committee on the

development and administration of programs to expand U.S. exports of environmental technologies, goods, services, and products. Topics to be considered during the afternoon subcommittee breakout session of this meeting will fall under the themes of trade policy and trade negotiations, trade promotion and export market development, and cooperation on standards, certifications, and regulations.

Materials Exports. The Bureau of Industry and Security’s Materials Technical Advisory Committee will hold a partially open meeting May 9 in Washington, D.C. This committee advises BIS on technical questions that affect the level of export controls applicable to materials and related technology.

The open session of this meeting will include presentations on HIS 101 and CPI 101 and “Toray next generation prepreg systems” as well as a report on regime-based activities. Those interested in attending this session via teleconference must notify BIS by May 2.
