Background

The International Trade Commission has recently announced the following actions in intellectual property rights infringement investigations. For more information on pursuing or mitigating IPR-related import restrictions, please contact ST&R.

Graphics systems – rescission of limited exclusion order issued in investigation 337-TA-1318 of graphics systems, components thereof, and digital televisions containing the same

Jump starters – (1) initial determination of Section 337 violation in investigation 337-TA-1359 of portable battery jump starters and components thereof and recommendation to issue a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders, and (2) termination of investigation 337-TA-1360 of such goods after a final initial determination of no Section 337 violation

Semiconductors – new IPR infringement complaint on semiconductor devices and products containing the same (complainants Infineon Technologies Americas Corp. and Infineon Technologies Austria AG; proposed respondents located in China and the U.S.)

Therapy systems – institution of patent infringement investigation 337-TA-1411 of photodynamic therapy systems, components thereof, and pharmaceutical products used in combination with same (complainant Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Inc.; respondents located in Germany and the U.S.)
